I began competing in trials at just 9 years old using TY80 and 125 Yamaha Motorbikes. By the end of my second season, I achieved fourth place in the Gwent Schoolboys Championships.
By the age of 12 in 1999, riding a Cagiva 80, I raced in the Junior Road Racing Association Championship. I achieved fourth place in both 1st & 2nd season of that championship. The following season 2002/2003, I was competing in the Welsh championship.
I came second during this season. I also raced in and won, The Crewe & South Cheshire Championship and The Stars Of Tomorrow Championship at the Darley Moor circuit. This enabled me to be accepted into the A.C.U. Road Race Acadamy. I was also Best Young Rider at Aberdare Park.
My achievements for the 2003/2004 season are:
Welsh 125cc Champion and 2nd in the Welsh 600cc Championship.
2nd in both the 125cc and the 600cc Darley Moor Championship.
Best 125cc Rider in the Junior Road Racing Club 2003.
Best Young Rider at Aberdare Park.
In 2004 I entered the Duke road race rankings which undertake several Irish road races and also some of the unique British road circuits.
While out in Ireland competing in the North West 200, I unfortunately tested the safety of the circuit and found it quite painful !. This prompted me to take it easy during the end of 2004 and most of 2005. I plan on making a comeback for 2006 and re-establish myself and my team where we left off ‘ Back At The Front’.
